O glorious St. Agnes,
you served God in humility and confidence on earth
and are now in the enjoyment of His beatific Vision in heaven
because you persevered till death
and gained the crown of eternal life.
Remember now the dangers
that surround me in the vale of tears,
and intercede for me in my needs and troubles.

Glorious Saint Sebastian,
you who had great courage,
help us to be witnesses of Jesus
before this unbelieving world
as You have brought others to Christ.

Help us to have faith in the pains of life
When I’m not feeling well,
and tired, I can get so down,
down with others,
down with myself,
down with everything,
my spirit withers within me.

Dear Lord God,
it was steady and predictable
to live in stability for a long time.
Now, there is much uncertainty
How long will this pandemic last?
In ages past, our ancestors also had
experiences of pandemic
We are not the only ones to know
this kind of illness and possible pending
suffering.
Grant, we ask You, O Lord Jesus Christ,
that the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Your Mother,
whose most holy soul was transfixed
with the sword of sorrow
in the hour of Your Own Passion,
may intercede for us before the throne of Mercy,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Under your patronage, dear Mother,
and calling on the mystery of your Immaculate Conception,
I desire to pursue my studies and my labors:
I hereby solemnly declare
that I am giving myself to these studies
chiefly to the following end:
that I may better contribute to the glory of God
and to the promotion of your veneration among men.
