Every day I need you Lord
but this day especially,
I need some extra strength
to face whatever is to be.
This day more than any day
I need to feel you near,
to fortify my courage
and to overcome my fear.
By myself, I cannot meet
the challenge of the hour,
there are times when humans help,
but we need a higher power
O Mary Immaculate Queen, look down
upon this distressed and suffering world.
You know our misery and our weakness.
O you who are our Mother, saving us in the hour of peril,
have compassion on us in these days of great and heavy trial.
Jesus has confided to you the treasure of His grace,
and through you He wills to grant us pardon and mercy.
Glorious Pope of the Eucharist, St. Pius X,
you sought to restore all things in Christ.
Obtain for me a true love of Jesus
so that I may live only for him.
Help me to acquire a lively fervor
and a sincere will to strive for sanctity of life,
and that I may avail myself f the riches
of the Holy Eucharist in sacrifice and sacrament.
Jesus, the very thought of You
with sweetness fills the breast!
Yet sweeter far Your face to see
and in Your presence rest.
No voice can sing, no heart can frame,
nor can the memory find,
a sweeter sound than Jesus' name,
the Savior of mankind.
O Jesus, only Son of God, only Son of Mary,
I offer You the most loving Heart of Your divine Mother
which is more precious and pleasing to You than all hearts.
O Mary, Mother of Jesus,
I offer you the most adorable Heart of your well-beloved Son,
who is the life and love and joy of your Heart.
Holy Mother, give me a simple, merry, sweet,
gentle, kind, benign, compassionate,
humble and meek heart.
Beg for me a profound contrition
and intimate sorrow to make my heart bleed
for my offenses against Your Divine Son.
Grant me a spirit of holy prayer,
the grace of meditating upon the sublime truths of faith,
In our life we are bound to experience the different stages of life, “from the cradle to the grave.” Whether we accept it or not, there is always an end to everything. The good news is that “endings usually signal new beginnings.”
O God, from whom all power comes,
by whose Divine will all must abide,
we thank You for our civil liberties and freedom,
for our opportunities and our privileges.
We beg of You to bless, assist,
and enlighten our Senators and Representatives.
May they prove worthy of the confidence placed in them
by their fellow citizens.
My tender Mother,
give me the virtue of fortitude to prevail over myself
through internal and external shame.
O valiant Lady,
you have conquered hell.
Give me strength to triumph over the devil,
the world, and the flesh.
You are our life and hope,
please grant me holy,
final perseverance in the grace of Your Divine Son.
O Immaculate Virgin, mother of God and mother of humanity,
we believe with all the fervor of our faith in your triumphal assumption
both in body and in soul into heaven where you are acclaimed as queen
by all the choirs of angels and all the legions of saints;
we unite with them to praise and bless the Lord
who has exalted you above all other pure creatures
